This turn-of-the century Hoosier threesome tracked over 300 original songs before vanishing, utterly, from the face of the planet. Fracasos ("Failure" to us gringos) were a mystery made of intimacy and violence, brooding and exuberance. Their story would almost certainly be like reading an Agatha Christie novel on acid - if only they were here to help tell it - and the only real failure left is that their parents continue to be very worried about them and their whereabouts.
